Is 200 Headlamp Protectors

Just joined LOC so Hi to everyone. Just bought a 53 plate IS 200 and was thinking of fitting some headlamp protectors. Emailed a company called protectyourheadlights (on eBay) who weren't sure if their ones, designed for 1999 models onwards, would be OK as they thought the headlamp design may have changed? Can anyone let me know if they are likely to fit or even if there are any other suppliers out there?

Don't think the shape has changed so should fit fine.

Personally I don't think there is a need for protectors as the lens is plastic and very strong.

Yes they will fit fine.... but as Colin said i wouldn`t bother to be honest...

Thanks for the info...my concern was the cost of replacement having had a stone go through the glass headlamp of my previous car and it cost nearly £90 to change. Is there a list of spares costs anywhere on the forum?

Headlamps glasses on IS200 are platic anyway, not seen one yet get damaged by a stone
