What Tyres To Get For The Is200?

Recommended Posts

I have seen some sp3000 dunlop tyres at my local garage they doing me a good deal. Do you reckon i should go for them? Or which other tyres would be better for the is200. Thanks

If you want your handling to remain as good as it was then I wouldn't put on the 3000s. If you want Dunlop then use the 9000s or if you want better tyres then Toyo Proxes, Bridgestone SO-3 or Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3.

yeah, as Colin says, dont go for the 3000's, if you want the dunlops, get the SP9000's...

Great in the dry and damp conditions. BUT terrible in standing water (aquaplaines very easily), and come winter you'll be kicking yourself...

It may be worth considering some all season tyres if you will need to use your car in the winter..

Used to use Dunlop SP9000's on my IS and found them good - hard wearing too, only changed them once in 3 years and 45k miles of motoring

i have 4 dunlop sport sp9000 215 45 17's sitting in my cellar. 2 have done 1500 miles and the other 2 have done 1000 miles. i will be placing them in the buy and sell section soon unless you would like them.

i will be in birmingham on business this thursday and could drop em off.

I had dunlop 9000 on the 200, they had done 30000 mls when I changed the car and still had some mileage left on them. Has anyone tried the Hankook Ventus sport K104 they have a good review on the tyretest web site.
