If I look under the bonnet there seems to be 3 horns (the electric type) 1 at the front centre and 2 on the right side of the engine bay. Are they all sounded when you press the horn buttton? Is one just for the alarm?

Two horns are normal ones and one (on the wing) is for the alarm. Not sure if the locations are different for face-lift models but I have one in the middle of the grill and the other one is at the bottom right of the radiator.

Anyone know of a small/compact but powerful air horn that I could fit instead of the electric type. Either they are not very loud or the sound proffing is very good!

It's the soundproofing.

Week ago, had to use the hooter in traffic. "Parp". Mrs Dipstick is in passenger seat and laughs herself silly, with words like "pathetic".

W get home and she gets out to open the gate. As she gets by the bonnet I hit the hooter and she leaps about a mile in the air. I laugh myself silly with words like "pathetic".
