Sat Nav Changes On The Move (rx300)

Is anyone aware of any way that you can program the Sat-Nav whilst on the move?

I am told that in order to change destination etc. you have to stop. Is there a way of allowing the Sat nav to be changed whilst driving?

I've got the same problem with my Is 200.

I asked a friend of mine who's very good in car electricity and electronics and he can't do any thing.

Lexus told me there is a way to get the safety off .

It seems that the only way is to ask them to reprogram the nav sat eprom.

The safety is on the speedo and if you do somehing on your own,there are risks that the nav is not correct ( because speed is not ).

Next time i'll go to Lexus, i'll ask them to do it but they are not allowed to do it !!
