One of my front wheel bearings had got noisy at 73K so I had both replaced. Wow! £130 per side for bearing and oil seal and around 3 hours labour.

Has any other GS owner experienced this?

I have an 'eee-eee-eee-eee' intermitent high pitch sound, might be a wheel bearing. It's not constant so not sure, def.not engine.

No wonder, you can see some lexus track-use at www.lexusvertex.com - hope it's not my driveshafts.

I had to have one of the rear bearings changed recently, the bearing itself cost £65 and the mechanic only charged me £30 labour (thanks cousin) even though it took a fair few hours and in his words "Was a pig of a job to do".
