Boost Gauges

Recommended Posts

OK I'm just thinking about getting a boost guage to keep an eye on stuff when I hit problems, are they easy to fit?

How do they work - and where do they connect to get the reading from?

TIA

Very easy to fit, well, it was on my Impreza. If you look at your inlet manifold, look around for a removable cap where you can attach the tube which connects the gauge. Make sure you get a good tight seal. Route the tube into the cabin, hook up the gauge, don't forget your illumination.. job done.

on the IS you can take a tapping using a t piece adaptor from the hose next to the inlet manifold, hose is shown in the pic of dave's cylinder head.

A doddle mate but a bit of a fiddle. You need to find someone with small hands/fingers. :P

My sister just gave birth to a daughter yesterday, think I can let the kid do it? :P
