Hi!

My name is Lara and l have just bought a black on black RX300 SE-L. It arrives on 1st September and so l have one month to find out absolutely everything about it before l get it!

One question that l cannot find the answer to is the NCAP rating of the RX300 SE-L.

I was told that it's rating was 5* but l cannot find confirmation of this on the net.

Can anyone help, please? I would be really grateful.

Thanks. :)

They test the most common cars, no Lexus. Should be good though, all the latest Toyotas have been getting 5 stars (Avensis, Corolla Verso, Prius)

Was there ever an NCAP rating?

I can't find one...

No Ncap rating - doesn't matter though - no deaths in the US in the RX. One car even fell from a multi storey car park on its roof and the owner survived!

The recent Dispatches TV program made me think about this again.

i do always feel safe in my RX - it feels so solid.
