Is the radiator on the LS400 gold plated? Why do I ask?

Well, my one is shot to pieces. A new one from Lexus UK is (wait for it)...£550!

Even if I get a new one from Lexus USA, price including shipping and duty is £370.

Luckily, I've managed to get hold of a brand new one which is basically a pattern part. A price of £234. :D :D :D

Once I get the details of who makes it, I will post on here, such that other owners know what to do if they ever need a new rad!

:D Yes, please!!

And, does any one know the difference between the Air-con radiator and the Water radiator? I'm guessing that the air-con one has smaller tighter (screw on?) fittings as the sealant is under pressure-well more pressure than the water.

I hadn't realised until recently that there were two parallel rads; presume not welded together! :whistling:

That's not cheap is it! Worth making sure the coolant is changed at the correct service intervals and the correct Toyota LLC or forlife is used to extended the life.
