First Test Drive And Getting A Deal

Here I go again!

First RX300 test drive this Saturday. Any tips? Do you think I might get deal to tempt an old mercedes customer to Lexus?

I gather that waiting time is dependant on colour preference. I have heard I could wait between 3 weeks and 3 months according to my choice. Are the imports of RX's limited?

No RX300SE's in Tungsten Mist until 2005 and then only maybe. Plenty of Brechin Slate and Platinum Ice however.

(The saleman tried to put me off T.Mist; he said it might be discontinued shortly).

Only one RX300SE-L in Tunsgsten Mist with black interior (actually two but I've bought the other one with Sussex).

There's a boat load docking in the UK any time now. UK dealers should know what variants are on the ship.

No idea about wait times but since they come all the way from Japan the Lexus system usually knows well in advance what is coming on the boat, what is sold and thus what is available.

With regards to a deal - you will get a great one - that is a car with decent build quality compared to a Merc :winky: :winky:
