Blue Tooth

Using a SonyEricsson T616 in my 2004 LS430. Phone works fine but signal breaks up. Seem to have a weak blue tooth signal as noted in the console in the dash. Sometimes get the following:Blue tooth out of range. Have gone back and forth between dealer, wireless company and Sony Ericsson. No satisfaction. Any ideas or previous experience with this problem? No previous experience but it sounds like everyone is playing 'not my problem'. Best bet would be to narrow the problem down to car or phone.

Few things you could try :

If you have access to another phone, try it in your car - if two or three phones have problems then its the Bluetooth installation (assuming its not a generic problem).

Ask the dealer if you can try your phone in one of their LS's.

Have a look on the US forums (if you haven't already) maybe someone there has come across the same thing.
