Does the window still work on that door? If not then probably the fuse for that door.

Can you hear the door lock trying to operate? If you lock the door manually from inside is motor able to unlock it when you press the unlock button?

Well i'd say it's either going to me the door lock motor, or the wiring, it has to bend a bit where it passes from the slam panel to the door.

May be time to get the door card off!!

Let me know if you need a wiring diagram, or some electrical info.

Oh yeah, is it a mark 1? The system is quite simple on these, especially on the back doors. If it were a door open signal, then the doors wouldn't lock at all.

No it's a series II. Could be the wiring or the door motor, however it could also be the door ECU that controls the motor.

Been out in car and noticed that the fault is intermitent,so it is probably a loose wire somewhere.
