A Basic Question

I bought a used spoiler from Scott and i've had it sprayed and fitted onto the car but not yet wired. The bodyshop said they would do it on thursday but it seems to take them all day to do something so I dont really want to leave my car there all day and for such a basic problem i'll just do it myself.

So, my question is where is the best place to wire it into? Presumably the other rear brake lights would be the obvious choice but I was under the impression that it was going to plug into somewhere but there are no plugs on the wire, just 2 wires.

Another question, whats the empty plug thing near the bootlock? sorry for the poor description but i'm hoping someone will know what i'm talking about.

ok ignore this, i've done it now

Mine had one fitted by the dealer, it was connected to the 3rd stop light connector, the light had been removed from the rear window :)
