Oem Double Din Adaptor & Heated Seat Switches

Hello,

For all you out there who have fitted an aftermarket stereo, what did you do with your heat seat switches? Cut the new adaptor & fabricate holders for the switches??, or relocate the switches?

The unit I have has a 'pocket' where the switches would normally be located. I could mount my Geodesy in the pocket, and maybe relocate the switches just infront of the lighter socket..... suggestions? I did also consider adding a computer controlled switch to my carputer using a relay, but this seemed a little excessive:)

there is no depth under that panel behind the ashtray, approx 12mm depth available only as airbag ecyu sits under it.
