The Soarer is the Toyota name, as a Lexus (in the US) it's the SC and would have a Lexus badge. The SC came out in 1991.

Before Toyota came out with their current T logo they had different badges on the front of their cars. Soarer has a Griffin the MR2 had an eagle etc.

I know, the Nissan Maxima now sells in the US and is badged under the Infinity range

I was of the understanding that Nissan Maxima is a separate model in the US, as well as Infiniti existing.

I don't know if anyone has ever driven the US Maximas (I drove two in 1996) but they were super smooth, especially the 3 litre V6 engine which keeps winning awards. They even made a manual version for performance enthusiasts...

Hmmm G35 and G35 coupe are the new 'skyline's the coupe is very similar to the 350z, BOTH of which are sold in the states
