Cd Warranty

Recommended Posts

Car first registered in 10th Aug 98, Lexus HQ in UK saywarranty expired end of Jul 04, to say I am annoyed is an under statement!

Had a quote from a Company in Leeds for £270 + VAT to repair, this is reasonable when compared to £1,000 + VAT for new from Lexus.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes they pop up on eBay mate for about a ton?

Other option to would be to extend the warranty on the car via Lexus - think you can do this at any point up to 7 years - can't remember what the max milage is though but hopefully that would cover the radio?

Extended warranty would cover the radio, they should check over the vehicle first though to make sure there are no current faults ;)

If getting one from eBay, make sure you get the correct one with the CD slot at the bottom.

There is also an IS being broken listed on eBay. May be worth asking about the head unit.
