About £500 for a 34 yr old male and missus with 7 years ncb, living in the sticks (though I did have a small bump under my protected ncb last year which they are probably stinging me for).

First Alternative have insured me for less than £300 (36m+wife with 4yrs NCB+ 1 recent accident). Admiral were my previous insurer but they wanted over £800 for a 10 month policy.

Rural area, impeccable record for over 40 years except for 2003 when an unisured driver rammed me in a car park when I wasn't present.

Churchill want £588, First alternative £635.

What should I be looking for? Anyone recommend a good price comparison site.

Anyone recommend a good insurance company (surely that's not an oxymoron!).

Try Lexus insurance. Either seem to be very expensive or very cheap.

Privelage are okay, I was going to them from the RAC but the RAC matched them so I stayed out of convenience

I picked up my se-l in july - insured by esure. I was half way through my policy on my is200 which was costing me £400.

Initially esure did not want to insure me on the RX as I am 26 and they prefer 30+ years on a vehicle of this value.

However they were stuck with me already so I just had to pay an extra £70.

I'm on 7 years NCB and live in the Nottingham suburbs so that helps too.
