Hi All

Just had the front discs and pads replaced on my 1998 MK2 GS300.

Recently the steering wheel has started to judder and vibrate when braking, no wobble on brake pedal.

The judder on the steering is always present during braking but strongest at low speeds 40mph to zero.

Could it be the steering column bushes?

Can anyone help

Regards

Did you have the discs done at a dealer? If not it might be worth getting an independent assesment on them as I had the same problem, which turned out to be the discs, even though they were new they were slightly warped :tsktsk:

Another thing to have checked would be the suspension bushes as these are a known issue.

Hi All

Had the discs and pads changed to Black diamond, no probs now.

Car booked in with dealers to give final once over to be on safe side.

Might be an idea to get a LOC discount setup direct with manufacturer, can pass over details to relevant person if required.

Regards
