Hi people, Just brought some GS430 alloys for my LS cause their the poorest looking wheels out there. My question is ,what make of tyre and size come factory standard with the GS430. Are they the quietest tyres because lexus did spend a few bob in testing different makes.Or has anyone got any suggestions. Also will it affect the ride quality going from 16's to 17's with a lower profile?

Many thanks Mark

I had 17"s on my LS the profile was 45s so not too low. The ride was fine Handling was good but the look was 10 times better! Go for a reputable tyre not budget tyres would be my advice. I had Pirelli's on and they were great.

The 430 had Bridgestone RE030 and are the worst things out for grip and noise - not recommended.

You probably will notice a smaller difference going to bigger wheels. What size tyres were on your 16" wheels so that we can correctly size ones for the new wheels?
