thanks for that but have already done it but worth another try. the last time i disconected the Battery the changer was fine. but this time there is nothing happening. Have checked all wireing and all connections are fine and no power probs that i can see.

Soon be time to try the big hammer solution

Does the stereo still work?

Try disconnecting the leads from the disk changer only to re submit a connection to the stereo.

However, have had mine in and out of the car loads of times but not had that problem.

Oh and another thins, does it play the stuff you have in it still?

Have tried all the leads and every thing seems ok. theres power to the changer but nothing works. The head unit is fine , only light thats not working is the cd button light. the magazine is still in the changer and as nothings working wont come out. run out of ideas now so going to look for a new head unit and changer next week. me thinks its time for a full custom install. been building them for a local company for some time now so time to do my own.

Thanks to all for your help but i think i have to say its died RIP stereo.
