Can some one fill me in on " Thrust angle "

all in the Hips mate...............all in the Hips :)

your thrust angle must be ok mate judging by the new addition!

i've not had any alignment probs as of yet but my mate who had a nightmare with his golf 4motion found your site of great interest once i sent him a link.

thrust axis deviation, is the fact that the rear axis is oblique in relation to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle in reletive to the direction of straight line travel,

now do you get it? sorry the facts are thrust is the predicted move from the rear if the axel is not true to the cars centre line, it is a reference point for the cars geometry, in fact most geometry angles converge to the thrust angle so it is an importent reference point.

something that concerns me is that, since tyres on the lexus cost about two days in france each, why when you have wheel alignment done, without any print out or evidence all's well? since the tyre wear is only evident in respect to mileage, without evidence how can you go back and dispute workmanship, do you just lay back and take it?, get a geometry, get a print out, get the most out of the car, and the tyres, get rip off britain sawn back up again.....
