I'd say, left foot on the brake, then full throttle, and at the go release the brake.

My lexus would be too dear for me to torture it like that.

You wouldn't be able to do that. At 3000 rpm with engine will be overpowering the brakes.

You may be able to hold it on the brakes at 2500rpm. Don't hold it too long it's not good for the gearbox. Turn off the VSC, you want a little wheel spin as you pull away but not too much.
