Dangers Of Public Car Parks !

Recommended Posts

wing is fairly easy to replace, but quite involved, if you need any poointers i will type out a removal and refitting instruction for you

I obviously want to do a perfect job Mat and would welcome your guidance please.

Thanks for your offer of an instruction sheet, but only if it will not take up all your time to do it. An overview would be fine mate.

Thanks to Scorpion for the 'A' pillar advice.

I was going to open up a NEW topic today, but after reading this ... I guess i'll just ADD!

I parked my car in a public car park last nite, only to come back and fine the bonnet had a DENT in it, and the mesh grill had been broken back (the clip)

Now i'm really PI**ED OFF !! as it's obviously some idiot reversed into my car and drove off !!!!

I'm tking it to LEXUS in the morning, so they can have a look and give me an estimate, has anyone here got any recommended bodyshop people ? in the East London area ?

There isn'y any damage / scratch to the actual paint work, it's just a dent in the front of the bonnet, near the grille, and the grille clip has been broken !!

Any ideas please ? your replies would be kindly appreciated, as i'm taking the car into Lexus in the morning !

Thanks again !

Sometimes i think it might be better to sell as it just goes to work and back (5k a year) i dont want to take it out and park somewhere i dont know its safe.

I wonder if there is a phobia for this..............i think i need therapy :geek:

This is crap guys, sorry to hear that the 3 of you have had this happen this week.

I'm getting to the point where I don't like to leave it in a car park, got hit twice in Safeway a few months back and people don't give a **** anymore about leaving notes - it's common decency I'd have thought but that's lacking nowadays.

Hope you all get your car's sorted soon.

Talking about key scratch, it is ugly, but what about that kind of thing? Two days ago, in the evening i was going to my car from friends home. My car was standing by the sidewalk, and guess what, some mother***** spitted on my driver window. It is nice to have happy people around you!

So many sad tales..I used to get some of that, and now I annoy the hell out of my passengers by parking at the furthest end/highest floor of the car park where nobody else usually parks. :D What else can you do?

It annoys me to hell when I see cars parked over two bays, but after my experience, I'll be doing that as well

F*** em !
