Towbars - Again!

Bringing up the towbar issue again - has anyone found an aftermarket towbar for the Mk II. The only people I can find who are even designing one is Towsure in Sheffield, but they cannot give a release date.

I believe there are units for the American market but although they are good units they probably would not comply with Euro standards here. Is there any difference in the back end of the US model compared to what we havew here.

This is an old post but if anyone is still looking then:-

I know a place that has 1 left £209.50 + VAT, not including fitting if you are interested them pm me and I may be able to get a bit of discount. (It fits upto year 1998 also it's detachable)

Thanks for ressurecting this one - still looking. Maria, this sounds like one for the mark 1 and will not suit mine but thanks for the info.

Lexusjohn, what type is it (Witter, Towsure etc), would they be able to ship one to Aberdeen for fitting, could you PM me with their contact details.
