I'll let you and everyone else know if I learn any factual information  :)

as the subject has come up again in another post, have u found anything more out about this???

I asked Friedel Beyer for Gerald's email but didn't get a reply, so it looks like the trail has gone cold.

As we have already proven that the stage 1 does work, and are 3/4 of the way through stage 2, and that we have confirmation from Friedel Beyer that TTE have never undertaken any further development on this car, my view is that the onus is on the doubters to prove otherwise.

G"edited out email addresses"    i dont have his email anymore but looking at the other addresses i think its a fairly good assumption.

Probably better off waiting for the correct information. Making assumptions can get you into trouble. If I remember correctly this whole issue is based on an assumption.

in response to a modified pulley, tte says it will damage the engine, tdi says it wont, which is the arguing point.

TDi has 100% success rate with the stage 1 upgrades, and no-one has yet been able to confirm whether TTE has tried it, although I have 2 emails from Friedel Beyer of TTE saying that they have not tried it.

It seems like a bit of a "no brainer" to me but there does apear to be one or two doubters so it would be good to get to the bottom of it.
