8.5 Or 10 Inch At The Rear?

Hello,

I can understand the benefits of having 10 inch wide tires at the rear of my Soarer. But are there any disadvantages? Could handling be adversely effected?

I am not to bothered by the extra cost of 10 inch wheels so I am looking for any reasons why I should not make this change. I sometimes have trouble getting the power down and I expect 10 inch tires to help.

Thanks in advance.

Mark.

Reduced acceleration and MPG, more tire noise and, worst of all, the potential for diminished handling. Think I'll go with 8.5 inch at the rear.

Thanks for the comments.

Mark.
