Intake For Is200 ?

i've been surfin in a IS300 forum a lot and I realised the placing of the intake is different to IS200 .. I wonder if anyone got an intake for IS200?

does it have to be customized? any pics if possible please? thanks! :)

hey Roadrash ur intake looks really nice! its not as messy!

where did u get yours? and how much does it cost? did it make a difference to sound or power?..

i see this one has a cover.. or is this is300? it looks like 200

Hmm... it's 100% custom made.

We bought the pipes, cut them, drilled holes, bought the silicone hoses, the filter and mounted all that.

The filter was for 65€, pipes ~40€, the elbow and silicon hoses I got in a tuning shop and they were expensive.

All in all about 200-250€.....

Well, you get more power with an exhaust, the intake was hardly to notice, not much power increase.

The response was a bit better yes.

The sound got much better, a really deep rumbling suck-sound. :blush:

same setup im running at the moment, much better sound, nice and deep and has improved throttle response.

Oh I forgot to say:

After a while I saw a Honda Civic Intake in a tuning shop.

I bought it and modified it a bit to make it fit.

It had a bigger diameter (76mm).

The bigger the diameter the more resonance is there and the better the sound.

The last pipe before the throttle body was 60mm and I noticed a louder and better intake sound after fitting the 76mm.
