Thought this might be usefull to those who are installing bits and bobs in their Lexus.

The following is the rear connector on the Radio for a IS200se 2004. I thought I would make a note of the wires when I was installing my Bluetooth kit.

OK, grounding Pin 4 does indeed mute the radio, but it doesnt pause the CD player, I guess that the radio doesn't have a pause facility on mute then ??

You asked me for the mute wire, not the CD pause wire :P

:shutit: :D

Hi all,

Is this the same on the GS300 (98) and should I connect the mutecable (from car kit) to the pin on the radio or the amp (hope its not the amp its very hard to get at!)

Thanks Guys

Nigel

Not sure, it was a 2004 IS200. Someone might be along in a while to help though :)
