i have got a major problem with my 98 vertex aristo when driving nearer top end

The other day I was driving down the M1 when all of a suddeen the car steered towards the barrier on the right, like a jerking reaction!!!!

The only thing i suspect it is the ARS or the rear steering rack itself

Anyone had the same experience?

any solutions to this death trap of a problem???????

The ARS Cancelor looks like:

Basically, all the Aristo TT have ARS (which is not available on the Lexus models), and this was designed to add some active rear steering aid. However, not every one is fond of this function and this is also prone to fail.

The Toms ARS cancellor is designed to eliminate (cancel) the ARS.

Estimated cost is approx. GBP230 - 250 (ex. shipping) :duh: Toms is expensive

Have you checked the real wheel alignment recently? My experience (over 5 years and 80,000 km) is that rear toe angle needs to be regularly adjusted. The toe should be set at 0 (not +1mm like the GS300) but I have had it move as far as 9mm of toe out, causing the the car to "tramline" on uneven roads and bump steer at higher speeds. This is a lot cheaper fix than the TOMS device.
