The other night when clipping my bonnet strut back in the damn clip snapped on me!

highly inconveinent i think as its a tad too heavy to hold!! lol.

Does anyone have a spare one or know where i can get em apart from a dealer?

Will try n phone a scrap yard or 2 but they never ever have anything in!!

I idealy wanna replace it with a gas lift system tho, is my only option to buy one in? or does someone have the dimensions of the brackets etc so i can make my own?

Also whats the best way of removing the heat/sound insulation

How much you want for the clip?

i tried using my trim tool on em and they were well stubborn. kept breaking the insulation. idealy i wanna be able to put it back if i need to.

but its just too warm under there!

Struts definately the way! i have seen at hte shows chrome plated ones for about £30 a pair, was thinking of making/having made the brackets as they look simple enuf. but need dimensions or a kind soul to let me take measurements lol
