Air Bag

Recommended Posts

I want to fit a new steering wheel to my IS200. I have a Momo Fighter half leather, half wood wheel waiting to go on, but I'm concerned about removing my old one due to the air bag.

Do I have to take it to the dealer to remove it or is it something I can do myself?

Is it legal to remove the air bag and will it pass the MOT without one???

Also, will it affect my Lexus warrenty at all?

Thanks in advance.

couldn`t agree more, ive seen many accidents over the years and the difference the airbag has made is unreal.

mind you for those who have seen the film Final Destination 2 you may disagree

the lexus wheel is one of the most comfortable ive used anyway, so i would leave well alone if i was you.

but thats just my opinion !
