Body Kit

Hi all, Just got myself an IS200 Sport and I'm thinking about adding a body kit.

I'm never bought a body kit and don't know much about brands etc.

Having looked over the forum, I do like the Blitz front lip, like the one fitted on to aido's car. Do I need to change the front bumpber to fit this on, or can the lip just go straight on to the original bumper.

Now the question is, where is the best place to get these? Can anyone recommend any other body kit? Then where is the best place to get these sprayed and fitted?

I do not want to go to a Lexus dealer as they just simply charge way too much!

I live in Croydon (London) so can anyone on this forum recommend anywhere near Croydon?

very few places sell bodykits for the is200

nemesis, scotaltezza to name a few

allways worth trying www.takakaira

they are japanese but offer a very good selection and reasonable shipping charges

avoid the USA ones as they will need modification

blitz front splitter fits onto your existing bumper

Mine came from www.upauto.co.uk if that's any help, painting and fitting was about £200 at the Lexus dealer and they did a very nice job!

My favorite kit is the Rod Millen one but unfortunately she doesn't fit UK spec cars :(

The TTE & TRD are popular kits, they're the ones you can get from the dealer, I've got the TRD skirts and rear - everything I got came from Zee :zee:

oh ok, it looks very nice mate, its amazing what a front lip can do the looks of the car... really transforms it.

I had a look on upauto and couldnt see the blitz lip advertised, did you just ring up and ordered it?

The one you're after is called "ALTEZZA RS Racing Front Lip" - it's a Blitz clone basically.

cheers mate, that makes sense, cause I was looking at that, and I liked that lip very much :)

Ok, here's another question, I don't want to spend too much, do you think that own its own will look ok, or do i need side skirts?
