Anyone here been to a rugby International at Twickenham recently ? I'm off to England v Canada on Saturday and wondered whether it would be possible to park anywhere near the ground outside the event exclusion zone.

I went to the Baabaa's game earlier this year, and that was a capacity crowd, and we managed to park about 5 minutes walking distance away from the ground. You'll be lucky to get a space next to the ground!

Have a look around when you get nar the match, you'll probably see some signs for local parking.

I was at the BaaBaas game too! We just followed the signs for parking and ended up paying to park about 10 min walk from the grounds. Train's usually easier though...

Lexus Twickenham is only a 10 minute(ish) walk from the ground.

Went to watch the challange cup final there and have to say it is alot easier going on the train than driving

Another ploy :

Where the A311 (Wellington Road) meets the A313 (Hampton Road) is a fairly large Focus DIY store. Entrance is in Wellington Road.

Park in there and get a 281 bus to right outside the ground.

I also believe that the local bus company http://www.lonutd.co.uk lay on special buses on rugby days. Their phone number is 020 8400 6600 (Fulwell Bus Garage).

Kremmen, I like the Lexus Twickenham idea though.
