Hks Silent Hi-power

can someone help me reducing the noise level of a HKS Silent Hi-Power so I can pass a noise test that is mandatory here in Switzerland.

Any ideas ?

does the noise reducing bung from the hks hi power fit? its a sleve that fits inside and reduces the overall internal diameter a bit

this is to loud i have one on mine and it is quiter than a standard

they must be realy strict on noise

get in touch with hks or there is tdi who deal with hks systems

is the test part of the MFK? or because u have fitted an HKS exhaust and need the certification?

i asked about the exhaust on my car and all they said was the standard emmisions test was required, nothing about a noise test

DAZA -> I must have the same noise level that stock exhaust at 1dB near

Fluff -> It's for certification I have no papers with my HKS Silent Hi-Power

ok i had a look on the net but couldnt find anything about mfk/tuv for hks auspuff.

have u asked the people on the euro forum - they will have a better idea about this than we will as in the UK you dont need any certification.

Hi,

the point is Bemani compressor mounted and certified -> Ok.

HKS Silent Hi-Power mounted but I will need to pass a noise level test, so i'm looking for a way to be sure that I will pass that test else I will need to reinstall my stock exhaust and re-pass the test and as you could expect it's not free, they ask 300 Swiss franc per test.

So if there is a way to reduce the noise level just for the test that's what I'm looking for !

Ohhhh I will need to drill on the Tail tip

I was thing of a part that can be installed just at the junction of the back-box and the cat, to reduce the diameter.
