Voice Commands And Remote

it appears that there is a compatable voice recognition kit and remote control for oem sat nav unit's

Toyota part number for the voice kit is 86750-44020.

The Toyota part number for the remote control is 86820-41031.

i think i'll give local toyota dealer a call

I know people have had this working in 2001/2002 IS300s in the US. Don't think it will work with CD based nav systems and you may need an up to date nav disc.

Hi There,

Completely new to this but have to ask, we have an x reg is200 with the system navigation ( dvd ). When we got the car the sales rep told us (but wasn't to sure ) that the sat nav also is a tracker for speed cameras, is this right ?

would be grateful for any info !

i don't think the DVD satnav came out till mid 2001 as for the speed cams er no how would you update it every time a camera moved hope this helps and welcome to the club
