Standard Lexus Stereo

I want to add a sepearte amplifier to the standard lexus unit.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Do the standard stereos have phono lead outputs on the back to connect an amp straight up?

Anyone have any recomendations for a good amp?

if there arnt any rca out puts some amps will take a high level input or you can but a high lev. to rca adapter

Anything is possible... No there are no pre-outs...

You may struggle for replies as i'm sure many are tired of answering this question.

May i suggest use of the very easy to use search facility on these boards.

Who knows, you may even find a guide on how to add your own pre-outs B)

You could also try www.is300.net, and look in the Mobiletronics section.. there is a guide how to make aux in & aux out (pre outs). You're other option is a line driver, or an amp that will take line driven inputs.
