So recently ive been thinking about getting a cheap run about for travelling to work and back as ive bene caining the milage....20k since march and now this bolt incident has given me another reason..

SO anyone got or know of a cheap runaround,, like 2-300 quid,, say upto a 1.5 engine,, not fussy what make.. let me know..

Did you see on the last series of Top gear when they have to buy a car for under £100?

Go to car dealers and ask for old part exchanged vehicles. As scrap yards now charge to take in old cars it is cheaper for the dealer to sell you a car for £1 rather than pay £30+ to have it scraped.

yep i also did 17k in the first 9 months i had mine.. Was looking for an astra diesel, ended up with with a 1.8 Cav with 8 months MOT for £320, plus tax on Top!!

I get my cousins to keep an eye out, if you havent found anything..
