Hi, Just bought a 99 ES300 only have one key. Called a dealer and they wanted 250 dollars for the key and 35 dollars to program it. Does anyone know if keys can be obtained elswhere at less expense.

Just go to eBay.com and youll find it. You can cut it at a local locksmith and you program it yourself

If you just want a spare in case you lock the other one in the car, how about one of the flat, transponderless keys?

Failing that, have you asked Sewells (www.lexus-parts.com) for a price? Don't forget to mention that you got their details from LOC!
