Hi,

I am a new member and I have 1993 LS400 that needs your help.

Trying to figure out how to read-out the DCT code from the ECU without expensive equipment ?

I have noticed two symptoms:

1. I hear the "beep beep beep" audible sound when I turn off the engine and trying to get out of the car. It seems that it is trying to tell me something that I don't know what to do about it. I am not smart enough to figure it out yet.

2. The engine started to run very rough. I was hoping to see the DTC code as a hint before I begin the shot-gun approach of the trouble shooting.

Also, the fuel gauge finally gave up of showing correct the fuel amount in the tank. It started off as slowing of the needle movement for a period of little over a year and finally it stays at empty mark all the time. I don't know where to start the trouble shooting. If you have any suggestions, I will be very happy guy.

Thank you in advance,

Taka S.
