Audio installer needed

Recommended Posts

I've just hooked my subs up to my home stereo (Krell KAV300) and I'm very suprised by how low they are and how much they are moving around considering the Krell can only supply about 1/3 of their power handling capability.

I've decided that I'm probably best getting a professional to do the install in the car so can anyone recommend a good company to do the install. The install doesn't have to be too fancy at the moment just need to be able to get it done quickly and be somewhere near London.

Before having any audio installed, I would definately recommend getting the rear of the car fully soundproofed with dynamat. I have just has a reasonably loud install put in and I cant believe how much the panels still vibrate:mad::mad::mad:

I have fitted about £250 of dynamat extreme and it still needs about another 5 (£100 worth) rolls I reckon.

Although I am still not happy with it, I dread to thing what it would be like with none in at all.

i agree with u there mate bout the soundproofing andy. but i'd say to have the front of the car sound proofed 2 even if your front speakers aint very powerfull the subs can still send vibrations through to the front end. if i have mine done in january at sqplus im gonna put a couple of 1000watt subs and 3 amps 2 for the subs and one for the main speakers. gonna have the car dynamated fully!!!!!!
