I've just bought a 93 LS 400 with a genuine 74k on the clock, backed up by 17 dealer stamps in the book. I am, however, horrified at the main dealers pricing, and in particular their labour rates. does anyone know of a good independent garage/mechanic in the GU14 postcode area who I could place my faith in?

My '93 has exactly double the mileage of yours and half the number of stamps!!

BUT

unless you have dealer headed paperwork to back up the stamps, you really dont know whether they're true or not!

But lets assume they are, you seem to have picked up a rarity!

GU14 I dont know, but there are a few members living in that part of the world, hopefully they'll get back to you

you could also join the Gold system and get a discount on your service and parts from your local dealer plus many other goodies too.

Im on my 3rd year of being a goldie, and the amount I have saved on my first year alone paid for more than 5 years worth of gold membership.

Hi,Welcome to the club.I have used Powerhouse garage in Camberley, not the cheapest but over half what Lexus charge and they work on lots of Lexus and soarers.
