it will be hard, you need to sort fuel delivery, electronics, engine mounts, clutch..........and all the other minor things like keeping the multiplex system working(dash lights, heater controls, aircon etc etc)

i shouldnt have such problems with the race car...........

that is why i said you will have problems doing the Multiplex?????

it has been done already as a sorts, TOMS did it with the 280t

if i can get the engine and electronics, i recon i could get the swap done, and working on the race car within a month :driving:

which is easiest.the TTE Compressor

the rs200 and 3s-gte are basically the same swap

they all require electronics and ecu work, even the supercharger requires a little electronic conections.as for the 2jz-gte.........that involves alot of work indeed!!

I never were in UK, but one day perhaps in vacation... :D

But I would really really like to do the swap... I'll ask Toyota dealer here in Portugal, they said that the Altezza RS200 engine could be done, I presume that the 3S-GTE should not be very much difficult, right?

I did the 1JZGTE conversion, fairly straight forward, with custome engine mounts, using the W58 Supra 5 Speed (JZA80) amd that bolts straight up to the mounts.

As Superchagred said, electronics!! Supercharged, what ECU do you use for the 2J conversion? Im using the Haltech E6X, seems to be ok so far.

Also, I though, being East-West configuration, the ST205 motor = box, will be difficult fit into the Altezza..

im not using Climate at the mo...........there was issues with where to put the condenser, im hoping when i have time to find a company that will be able to do custom pipework and find a suitable condenser to fit in the available space
