Newbie In Need Of Advice...

Hi,

I personally don't have an IS but a few friends do, although i like the gearbox i'm not at all impressed with the steering feel or the spongy ride not to mention a gutless engine.

I apologise for slating your pride and joy, feel free to throw abuse at my BMW :)

Anyway i do have a few questions, how much would an Altezza engine conversion be? Are there any other Lexus engines that'll go in with relative ease?

Not knowing anything about the, err, Toyota engine I don't know how tunable (sp?)

they are, I do know that an S/C or turbo is well out of his budget so I thought maybe dropping the Altezza 210bhp lump in would give the most bang for your buck.

I'd really appreciate hearing your views on this, i know sweet f.a about the 'modding scene' with Lexus.

Why not just get an altezza??? not wishing to be rude... but why spend all the time, effort and money on transplanting an altezza engine... when you can just buy the real thing?
