Quick Altezza Insurance Question Re. Elephant...

hi there

just a quick question, does anyone here have an Altezza RS200 (beams vvtli engine), and have their insurance with either elephant.co.uk, admiral, etc (or any other insurance company run by admiral)?

If so, what make / model did you use? i am with elephant and they dont have a listing for 'toyota altezza', but they do for lexus is200 import, but doesnt state whether its an RS or AS 200 (but i think its most likely going to be an AS200)

Elephant wont quote imports online anyway - so your better off calling them..

My broker is Adrian Flux, I too didn't think elephant did imports

Maybe best to phone around other brokers to get the best deal and then ask elephant if they would match it?? If they dont do imports then just cancel your existing policy and take out a new one with one that deal with imports.

they definately do imports, my current car (hyundai coupe from singapore) is an import they know about.

try Osbourne and sons mate... i would make them put in writing that your car is covered even though its an RS200 ( 4 cylinder )... that way, you know your covered...

Tesco's do it although u have to call. I did enquire about it to Elephant and they said same thing. Osbourne and Sons couldn't beat my Tesco's quote... so thats it pretty much - Tescos for me!
