Any body know whether the badges on the boot of a 1998 ls400 are simply stuck on or are there holes where they fix into?

Also, is there a cheaper place to buy replacement badges other than a main dealer who want to charge about 40 quid for 'Lexus' , the slopy 'L' logo , 'LS' and then '400' !!!

Not sure about the fixings, but you may be able to find some badge sets on eBay.

I saw an auction that ended a couple of days back that was offering a professionally gold-plated set (front and back logos + Lexus + LS400) and they ended going for £36.

Looking at there previous auctions I reckon that the company will list again. The one that I was looking at is here:

24KT Gold Lexus LS400 Badges

Of course not much cheaper than you were quoted, just depends whether Gold is your thing! B)

I personally love my gold badges, but they are a bit worn. I was tempted...
