Like most new designs it takes a bit of getting used to. Second time round it looks better. One could get used to it!

The translation reads that this model is not specifically a replacement for the IS, but more of a new model range that encompasses the current GS saloon, a new "lifestyle 4x4 like the BMW-X3 and a sports cabriolet. Since this model is not expected until 2006 it is unlikely to be the "new" IS.

Well you wont have long to wait as The Daily Telegraph reports that the new IS200 Salloon wil be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in March.

Whatever it is, it isn't as terrible as everyone is making it out to be methinks. Give it some time, you may like it. All new cars these days are increasingly odd-shaped and all futuristic and stuff so this is probably the way it's going to be (hell it could get a lot worse!).

Ravstar, I agree, when we all see it on the stand we may appreciate it fully. At least it makes a modern statement and is not a car for fuddy duddies!
