fuel pressure regulator

hi, have anyone tried installing a fuel pressure regulator in the is200?

its not actually possible as the fuel system is on a standered car,im sure however if you really wanted to fit one it could be possible...........anythings possible

what i mean though......is you can not just swap fuel regulators like you can with most other cars.............

not yet, car is still at TDi, hope that its done soon, not much left to go i think - main thing is the last bits of the manifold. once the car's finished i'll be straight on the photos and performance numbers. really hoping that it will be back this week so that i can go to the meanstreetcruise on saturday, trax on sunday and then santapod the week after.

yep, see your point about the regulator, i think it was quite a big job. the standard fuel setup is quite strange and is pretty much maxed out with the supercharger.

what abt head gasket? anyone try using custom make head gasket to change their compression of their engine?

The fuel delivery system is maxed out with the basic compressor system installed.

The standard fuel pressure regulator is located in the fuel tank with the pump, and does not have any boost compensation. Installing a decent regulator is quite tricky as the pump assembly requires surgery and another fuel line needs to run up to the engine.

This is all part of our stage 1 boost upgrade.

We are turning a is200 into a drift car but have a problem 

Last time out with original fuel delivery system it kept blowing the fuse so we put a stand alone fuel system in ( pressure regulator/pump/tank/lines) 

We looked online and done the throttle body modification

But now it will start and rev once but cuts out after that 

Anyone have any ideas
