while at TTE earlier in the year we was discussing the limited edition IS200 they told me the wheels are made in south africa.............are south africans well known for there wheel manufacturing skills.....?

They are part of the Lexus sport styling kit, only avalible from the factory.

ahhh south africa - well lets say that the labour is cheap, but the engineering capability is huge, in durban there is one of the biggest toyota plants and also there is a bm plant that ships to the US and europe, enough said!.
