3s-gt Engine

just a quick question, is the 3S-GT engine in the altezza the same/ similar to the 3S-GTE engine found in the MR2/Celica GT4 if so would it fit in place of the 2lt 6 cyl is 200 engine

Firstly the altezza is a 3s-GE with dual VVTI

the 3s-gte is the turbo version of the 3sge.

the altezza engine is of all aluminum construction, the 3s-gte is a Iron block aluminum head

would it fit.yes, but will take some custom fabrication, and also you will require the engine loom and ecu..............................obviously had you done a search, all this infomation would have been easy to find, as it has been discussed, only within the past 2 weeks :winky:

having done a search, on a few of your posts, if insurance on an Altezza is gonna be hard to get, how much do you think you will have to pay on a modified IS200, thats had the engine changed to a turbocharged one :duh:
