Lexus deny that the system can be infected because it does not use the Symiban operating system as the phones. The O/S was originally from that naff organiser.

If Lexus used the Symbian O/S, I wouldn't buy Lexus. Luckily, it would be totally ridiculous for such an O/S to be used in a car.

I've worked with the Symbian O/S and it's crap. There's layer after layer after layer after layer. Each calls the corresponding function in the next layer. I haven't seen software like this since the early 1980s. It's clearly a bunch of worthless idiots trying to keep themselves in a job. Most of the so-called software developers were just hackers.

When I was there I had to rip out whole sections of software which simply didn't do anything. ABSOLUTE KACK!

I wouldn't buy any of the organiser phones with the Symbian O/S either.
