Cruise Control

Recommended Posts

Is this normal ?

When in cruise operation braking drops cruise - Hit Resume and speed returns to setting.

However if you (say) turn corner at a roundabout then hit Resume nothing happens without Hitting set again once you reach the speed you want.

I have had auto cruise cars for 20yrs and usually providing your speed is above 25-30mph resume means resume to previous speed !

My previous GS 300 Resumed to set speed after turning steering wheel but New RX dosn't

Please confirm

Shoggy

I have noticed instances of cruise not resuming to set speed but I hadn't pinned it down to turning wheel. I thought it must have had something to do with the resume switch needing a signal of a set length and maybe I had flicked it too quickly. Once it's failed any further operations of the switch fail to resume until it's set again - as you say.

Might be down to the speed you're travelling - often cruise resume wont kick in under 40mph - which is what happens for me.
